About 90 minutes southeast of Atlanta, Lake Sinclair is bordered on the south by Milledgeville and the north by it’s cousin, Lake Oconee. While Lake Sinclair is primarily in Putman county, it stretches through Baldwin and Hancock counties.

- The lake is the site of several fishing tournaments—both local and national—and attracts fishermen of various skill levels and interest.
