Valerie Martin, Realtor

Born into a multicultural and bilingual family, Valerie Martin was raised in Lausanne, Switzerland. She spent summers in the Swiss Alps, Italy, Spain and France and speak multiple languages. Moving to Atlanta in 1998, she immediately fell in love with Georgia and never looked back. Throughout the years, Valerie has called Brookhaven, Milton and more recently Woodstock home.

In 2002, Valerie embarked on a new adventure, earning her real estate license. She has spent the past 20+ years on different sides of the industry, representing both buyers and sellers, but also working as property manager in both residential and commercial real estate. Valerie says, “It wasn’t long after I became a Realtor that I discovered my passion for helping people whether dealing with first time homebuyers, relocation buyers or empty nesters.”

She recently joined the RPM Home Advisors’ team and is looking forward to continuing to show-off Atlanta to Georgian transplants and those looking to relocate into new neighborhoods. Her long-term resident’s knowledge of the different communities around town and its suburbs that have grown and changed over the last two decades helps Valerie place families in their own perfect neighborhood.

Valerie is a strong supporter of the University of Georgia (attended by her son), the University of Tennessee (attended by her daughter), as well as her Alma Mater Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY. Valerie is also a strong supporter and donor to the T1D cause.

In her spare time, Valerie spends time with her partner, Derek; her two kids, Tyler and Ashley; and her beloved dog, Eason. Valerie is an avid paddleboarder, tennis player, golfer and hiker. Valerie says, “Real estate is not just a job, but a true passion. I feel blessed that I can help people achieve their goal of home ownership at different stages of their lives.”
